Enable the echolife hg520s wireless routing function (configure note)

In Wuhan these days, China Telecom has installed a wireless modem, echolife hg520s.

I thought that wireless networks could allow both the home computer and itouch to access the Internet.

I used to remotely teach my father in Hong Kong for a long time. I didn't succeed. I came back and saw that my father had been castrated... China Telecom is considerate ~~

 

Let's briefly talk about the solution. It is actually very simple.

 

1. After being castrated, you need to find a firmware to enable it. I first looked for b016. B016 refers to the last four digits of the "software version" number.

 

2. After b016 is used, you can see the routing mode in WLAN, and then add the user name and password. After submission, You can automatically dial up the Internet.

 

3. The problem is that automatic Internet access is okay. I also configured DHCP. However, when I entered the wireless routing module, I configured the SSID and password of the wireless network and submitted it.

I thought that after the submission, I could restart and save the settings for the wireless network,Here I amOnly the user name and password for dial-up Internet access can be saved, and the Wi-Fi settings cannot be saved.

 

4. At this time, some people on the Internet say that b013 is the most stable of these versions. So from here

5. Go to the configuration page again to perform firmware upgrade, configuration, and restart. After the restart, the wireless network settings are not lost. Done.

 

PS: I have not succeeded in configuring via Telnet on the internet because the versions are different and the commands are not correct.
