Enable word to underline away from the text

When you underline text in Word, the default underline is too close to the text, and sometimes for special needs, you want them to be less "near", looking for a long time in word, and finding that Word does not provide us with the ability to modify directly. After some groping, finally found a solution, specifically as follows, hoping to help some friends.

Step One: Enter text that needs to be underlined, such as "underline, please don't wrap it up."

Step Two: Add a space before and after the text you enter, if the content is the first line, to prevent Word automatically indent, you can enter an independent word and then enter a space, and finally the word will not be deleted, you can implement the word before adding space, the final effect is "underline please do not close" (see Figure 1). Step three: Select "Underline please do not cover" (not including before and after space), click "format → font" (see Figure 2), in the Pop-up Font dialog box, switch to the Character Spacing tab, select Promote in the Position column, enter a number at the back of the point (see Figure 3), click OK button to return to the main Word window.

Fourth step: Select the underline please do not close (including before and after space), and add underline effect, the effect is shown in Figure 4.

Fifth step: The "underline please do not close" after the space deletion, select the previous space, the font size set to "1" (see Figure 5, in the "Font size" box, enter "1" and press Enter), the final effect see Figure 6.

1. The point value of Ascension is the distance between the text and the underline.

2. When the text is a font size of "fifth", the value of the raised points is valid range of "1~3". After testing, when the point value exceeds "3", the underline is lost. To increase the distance between the text and the underline, increase the font size before you increase the number of points.

3. The space before the text can not be deleted, if deleted, the underline will be automatically lost.
