Many people use the English operating system for many reasons. For whatever reason, there may be a problem: the text of the software is garbled. What should I do?
The reason why the software text is garbled is that, in the English operating system, all non-Unicode languages are interpreted based on ASCII encoding. If it is not English, garbled characters will appear.
Solution:
I'm not sure which version of Windows is supported since I started using the English version of Windows 7, and Windows 7 and 8 are supported.
Setting method:
Control Panel \ clock, language, and region, open region-> Administrative-> language for non-Unicode programs-> change system locale ..-> select Chinese (simplified, China)
After the configuration is complete, you need to restart and take effect. Note: The software such as thunder must be set before installation; otherwise, the software name may be garbled. Therefore, it is best to set locale first after installing windows.
