Erecting WEB/FTP server with broadband router

Personal set up a Web server to consider a lot of questions, today to explore the network of personal building stations. We all know that if the Web or FTP site established on the LAN, only the intranet can access, the extranet is inaccessible. To solve this problem, the usual approach is to apply a peanut shell IP binding a domain name, and then set the mapping on the broadband router, mapping the domain name to the intranet Web/ftp server. In this way, the outside can access the internal network WEB/FTP server by accessing the domain name.

I. Preparatory work for the prophase

1. Introduction to the Internet mode:

The way I use the Internet: adsl+ routers, the products used here are td-8800+tl-r480t. There is a WIN2000 server in the LAN, through which the WEB/FTP server is built.

The structure is as follows:

ISP--ADSL (TD-8800)--Router (tl-r480t)--Server (WIN2000 server system, IP is: 192.168.1.222).

TL-R480T support virtual Server, provide the ability to set up the server, you can specify the internal local network of specific hosts for the Web.Mail.FTP and other types of servers. DDNS features built-in peanut shells and Comay clients, you access these two sites to obtain free domain name, by setting up the client on the router, realize the dynamic domain name conversion.

2. Apply for the peanut shell free Domain name: Apply for free dynamic Domain name website address: http://www.oray.net, http://www.comexe.cn. Landing Peanut Shell official website, registered domain Passport and application for peanut shell free domain name, after registration also need to enter the Peanut Shell Management Center to activate the domain name. The dynamic domain name I am applying for is: http://luruihuaweb.vicp.net.

Two. Configure the broadband router

The previous official site in the Peanut shell application of dynamic Domain name: http://luruihuaweb.vicp.net, in the intranet to establish WEB,FTP server, must open the corresponding port, the definition of WAN service port and LAN Server mapping relationship, the following we start to set tl-r480t.

1. Set up the virtual server: Open the Router settings interface, in the "Virtual Server", the 21-port and 80-port map to the intranet of the FTP server and the Web server, as shown in the figure:

3. Set DDNS:

With the above configuration, the basic configuration of the router has been completed, and the server is now configured.
