For a running Erlang system, the process is absolutely an important component. Because processes are the basis of all running entities, you will want to know more about them. Fortunately, VMS provide a large amount of information available, some of which are safe to use, and some are unsafe to use in a production environment (because a very large collection of data is returned, and the amount of memory required to copy to the shell and print causes the node to crash).

All information about the process can be obtained by calling Process_info (PID, Key) or Process_info (PID, [keys]) 86.
