The method is as follows: First look at the table.

The formula is set in cell C1, and now all we have to do is to fill in the cells in the C2 to C9, and also to populate the formulas.

Like the following figure, select the C1:c9 area.

Then, select the menu "edit" → "fill" → "Fill Down", as shown below.

In this case, the selected cells are automatically populated with formulas.
