In Excel2007, there are several ways to hide gridlines.
The first method:
Click office Button/Excel options, and then open the Excel Options dialog box.
Click the Advanced option on the left to move the scroll bar down to the show options (S) section in the worksheet.
The sixth item is "Show gridlines." In the default state, this item is selected.

Uncheck with the mouse click, and then click OK in the lower-right corner. You can not display gridlines on this worksheet.
※ You can not only display and hide gridlines, but also set the color of gridlines.

The third method: Show/Hide Feature:

1, select one or more worksheets.
2, on the View tab, in the Show/Hide group, clear or select the Gridlines check box to hide or display gridlines.
