Previous article we talked about how to recover a disabled mailbox. But in Microsoft Exchange, disabling mailboxes and deleting mailboxes is after all two different concepts, and this article we'll look at how to recover deleted mailboxes.

4. Reconnect the user's mailbox

5. Filter the corresponding backend MBX server, select the disconnected "Zhang San" mailbox and click the "Connect" icon.

7. Manually select an enabled mailbox and an existing AD account "John Doe" to connect.

8. Open the "John Doe" OWA mailbox for viewing. You can see that the original mailbox data has been restored (time is not changed), but the user name has been automatically changed from "Zhang San" to "John Doe".

Recovery for deleted user mailboxes has been completed.

Open the "John Doe" OWA again, the system has prompted that the user's mailbox is not in the disconnected mailbox, there is no "John Doe" user, and the ad account has been deleted.
