IBM Lotuslive and IBM Connections Introduction
IBM Lotuslive (www.Lotuslive.com)
IBM Lotuslive (www.Lotuslive.com) is part of the IBM SmartCloud product family. It is a portfolio of software PRODUCT services that IBM delivers through the SaaS model. The industry-recognized cloud computing model is divided into three levels of infrastructure, service (IaaS), platform as a service (PaaS) and software as a service (SaaS). IBM Lotuslive is a typical SaaS model. Users themselves do not need to buy hardware devices, specific software licensing, the formation of a large IT department to maintain their IT systems. Customers can build their own IT systems by purchasing specific services on Lotuslive, based on the number of users and service capabilities, and on-demand services that allow customers to control their IT budgets with precision.
Lotuslive provides a range of services for web conferencing, collaboration, and e-mail. The details are as shown in figure one

IBM connections
IBM Connections is a social business collaboration software launched by IBM for enterprise customers. It has 9 application modules-activity (activities), blogs (Blogs), bookmarks (Bookmarks), community (communities), file (files), forum (forums), home page (hompeage), personal files (Pro files) and wiki (Wikis).
The latest version of the IBM connections software is 3.0.1. The combination of IBM Lotuslive and IBM connections
IBM has deployed the service capabilities of the socialized business software provided by IBM connections on the Lotuslive cloud platform. Users can use the service capabilities provided by the functional component activities (activities), the community (communities), file (files), forum (forums) in IBM connections on Lotuslive. It is worth mentioning that, so far IBM has made a lot of investments in the cloud platform, users can experience the new capabilities of IBM Connections 3.0.1 on the cloud platform, such as support for multi-tenant, bulk operation of files, survey management, etc.

Where the e-mail address (login ID) is the user login login Lotuslive used, the landing page is shown in Figure three. After the user logs in to Lotuslive, the user will use the IBM smartcloud address email address you specify * * * * @try ***.notes. Lotuslive.com as the e-mail address that is actually used within Lotuslive.

With this temporary account, the user has the permissions of the administrator of the organization you specify. You can experience how to manage users as an organization administrator, assign user rights, and so on.
