JPEG image compression algorithm is a lossy algorithm. Every time you open a picture to edit and save, some of the original content in the picture will be lost. However, it is difficult to observe the differences with the naked eye. Therefore, we will compress the "Romeo and Juliet", the virtual "compression" of reality.
Post-Compress fragment:
"O romep+ Rpldo wiepffnre Arr!riov romep@
Dgoy THz gatggr ' me tefusf sgx n ' me! '
Original:
O Romeo, romeo! Wherefore art thou Romeo?
Deny thy father and refuse thy name;
The above fragments come from the famous "Towers" in Romeo and Juliet. I use Photoshop to import this plain text, select the "Highest quality", and then export the results, so I got this one thing.
The above comparison shows that even if you choose the "highest quality" compression, many digits are replaced by adjacent or similar characters. This is a slight change in the color of the image, which is almost indistinguishable from the human eye, but when the change is presented in this form, even the slightest change can bring trouble to reading.
So, I tried other quality, the following figure from top to bottom is "highest quality" to "maximum compression." After that, I printed them out and bound them into a book.
