Explore the "new" and "new" words displayed when creating a project in SharePoint 2010

The "New" and "new" words displayed when creating a project in SharePoint 2010 are discussed in SharePoint 2010. When we create a project, we will find that "new" appears in the upper right corner of the new project. See the figure below:
But think about it. Why is the second project different? It indicates that there is a limit on the time when the word "new" appears. If it exceeds a certain time, it will automatically disappear. Do you know how long the word "new" will appear? One day? Two days? By default, the word "new" lasts for 2 days and is controlled by the days-to-show-New-Icon attribute. We can use the stsadm command to modify this attribute.
Where-Pn = property name;-Pv = property value. The content in brackets must be replaced by your own data. If you don't want to see the new word, you only need to modify the attribute to 0. Of course, if you only want to view the default value, you can also use the stsadm command to view it.
Similarly, you must use your own URL to replace the provided URL (this is my local ). The property exists and the value is 2. We try to change its value using the above method. We can see that the modification was successful for 3 days.
