After a period of time, the fault became worse. When I pressed the warehouse key, I only heard the motor rotation sound in the drive, but the drive tray could not pop up. I pressed the drive key multiple times, occasionally, the optical drive tray also enters and leaves the warehouse. There is an emergency Pop-up hole on the optical drive panel. You can use a paper clip or something similar to this to top the tray and put it on the disc to read the disc normally. This small problem is annoying. Although we did not learn electrical appliances, we still need to use the DIY spirit and find a solution on our own!

Although the optical drive cannot be smoothly moved into or out of the warehouse during the "illness" period, the reading disk is normal, indicating that the optical drive's head is not damaged, and the fault should be in the mechanical part. Because the fault occurs inside the optical drive, you must take the optical drive apart for repair. The process of splitting the optical drive is relatively simple. You don't need to talk about it here. Take a closer look at the optical drive. Good guy, there is a lot of dust inside the optical drive, and the host is too careless. I didn't give the optical drive a comfortable environment. No wonder the optical drive will send a "temper ".

Remove the dust from the optical drive and put it into a disc for test. The result is still faulty, and the effect of dust on the optical drive is not great. What should I do if the drive fails to exit the warehouse? Observe the working conditions of the optical drive tray carefully. There are two grooves on the optical drive tray, which are stuck on two plastic tracks. There are gears on the tray, and the motor drives them into the warehouse. Looking at it, the track of the optical drive is full of dust, and the original grease has dried up and hardened. The resistance between the track of the tray and the optical drive is very high, will it be because the friction between the tray and the track increases and the tray cannot be moved out of the warehouse? Sweep the dust on the optical drive track, clean the hardened grease, and then apply some lubricating oil between the track and the tray, or something that can be lubricated, such as car butter, vaseline for hospital, etc. After processing, connect the optical drive to the computer, press the enter/exit key on the optical drive, and open the optical drive tray.
