I've been using Ubuntu for many years now, but I haven't upgraded since the Ubuntu interface, and I've recently got a new SSD hard drive, and I've been thinking about installing a Fedora version to play and download the latest version of Fedora19. With a U disk to do the boot disk and installed to the hard drive found that the system with the IBUs input method is very bad, in sublime text under the Chinese can not input, so think of the FCITX.
1, first uninstall the system with the IBUs input method
sudo yum remove IBUs
Gsettings Set Org.gnome.settings-daemon.plugins.keyboard Active false
2, installation Fcitx Input method
sudo yum install fcitx*
3, configure the FCITX, add in ~/.BASHRC: The following content
Export GTK_IM_MODULE=FCITX
Export QT_IM_MODULE=FCITX
Export xmodifiers= "@im =FCITX"
4. Since the cancellation button is canceled in Fedora 19, restart the machine.
The above steps can actually use FCITX input method, but see Sogou input method has been out of Deb bag (Sogou incredibly no RPM package)
So I want to install a Sogou input method to fcitx up.
Download the corresponding Deb package from the connection address below and use the I386.deb and 64-bit system with Amd64.deb for the 32-bit system
http://mirror.sohu.com/deepin/pool/non-free/f/fcitx-sogoupinyin-release/
Download the skin of a Sogou input method from the following address casually
http://mirror.sohu.com/deepin/pool/main/f/fcitx-skins/
5, after the completion of the download double hit Open amd64.deb, Chiang inside the data.tar.bz extracted, and then to unzip the compressed file
sudo tar jxvf data.tar.xz-c/Then we move the unpacked. So file to the FCITX specified directory (64-bit for example)
sudo mv fcitx-sogoupinyin.so/usr/lib64/fcitx/Then we're installing the skin.
