filelocator Search File Contents
1. Download and install Filelocator Pro, the software distinguishes between 32-bit and 64-bit version, it is not clear that 32-bit and 64-bit identification method, please refer to "win7/win8 how to see the computer system is 32 or 64."
2. Open Filelocator Pro
(1) Enter the text you want to search for in the containing text. For example, I would like to find a "down" Word document, enter the "Ann" can be. If you are familiar with the advanced usage of wildcard characters, Boolean expressions, and so on, you can check the "expert user" on the right.
(2) Determine the location of the search, click the "Browse" button to select the location you want to find. For example, I already know the Word document I am looking for is in the F-Disk downloads folder, then I will change the lookup location to this folder. If you don't remember where the file is, you can click the blue down arrow next to the Browse button and select the first option, which is all the hard disk partitions on the computer (C/D ...).
(3) To determine the search content and location, click the "Start" button can be searched. Search results will be displayed in real time, click "Match" "text" to quickly view the contents of the document. Right-click the search results to open the file directly.
Note: The default document Format for Office 2013/office 2010. Docx/.xlsx/.pptx and so on need to install Microsoftoffice2010filterpack (32-bit, 64-bit) in order to search.
