In fireworks, the default save format for images is. PNG file, the file is the most likely to save fireworks in the drawing of various graphics objects, slices of related properties and information, so as to the image file again to edit the maximum operability, in addition to the output of the file format commonly used in GIF, GIF animation, BMP, JPEG and so on. Let's look at the output methods and setup options for these formats in more detail.

1, the output of the image settings

Options settings: In fireworks, the completion of the image, you can directly click on the toolbar "save" button to save the image as a PNG file. You can also use the "file-Export Preview" command on the menu to make a preview of the file's output, as in Figure 7-01.

Format--In this column you can choose the image format to be exported, the commonly used output format is GIF, GIF animation, BMP, JPEG, etc.

Palette--Select the palette to use for the image. The fewer colors in the palette, the fewer colors in the image, and the smaller the output image file.

Distortion--Sets the compression quality of the image. The higher the compression ratio, the greater the image distortion. In the input box after the distortion bar, you can set the maximum number of colors that the image uses.

Jitter-Replaces the color in the current palette by replacing the color pixels in the image, resulting in a missing color appearance. Dithering is especially useful when exporting images with complex blends or gradients, and exporting photo images to a 8-bit graphics file format such as GIF. But it also increases the capacity of the image file. Jitter options are available only for GIF, other 8-bit graphics file formats, and wbmp.

Color table-Displays the various colors that are used when the object is exported.

There are six tool buttons for editing colors under the color table, as shown in Figure 7-02.
