Five Tips for user testing
Start testing now and let developers see the benefits.
Break the mystique of usability testing. It's not rocket engineering, it's an in-depth test of 3 and 4 users.
Start testing as early as possible in your project, and the paper model may help you save a lot of time and expense.
Include management and stakeholders in the usability test, invite them to observe, and let them know in the process of solving the problem. It would have been better if they had been able to use user-centric design themselves.
Identify the defenders in your organization and meet their needs. It might be better for them to drive usability testing, and let project members realize that it's not just UX work.
