Flash is a great tool for creating cartoon characters. All of its vector drawing tool groups fit a lot of pattern styles. Here we will create a picture of the actual flowers step-by-step. Drawing flowers is always attractive and challenging, because it always contains subtle changes in color. The main tool for this example is the pen tool and the gradient fill. The pen tool has been greatly improved in the Flash CS3, and if you are familiar with the Illustrator pen tool, you will notice that this is very similar. Flash has absorbed the core features of the Illustrator Pen tool, including the same shortcuts and hotkeys, not to mention the same good pen cursor. Such a combination is gratifying. A particularly cool pen tool tip is to hold down the spacebar while moving the current point. Another trick in CS3 is to automatically populate a coherent shape that is completed with the pen tool. You can do more experiments with the new pen tool, I think you will like it. In fact, I think it's better than the illustrator pen tool.
1. The first step is to draw the basic shape of the flower argument on the original image. Adjust to the exact level you want, but I recommend following the original image, which is much simpler.
2. The Pen tool (P) is ideal because it can quickly and easily draw the contour of a flower argument by clicking and dragging on the outline of the picture with the hand.
