5.12 Movement Guide (Jib JAB)

The Motion guide layer allows you to create a path between two component instances, grouped objects, and text blocks, you can connect many layers with a motion guide layer, and multiple objects follow the same path. A normal layer is connected to the motion guide layer and becomes the guided layer.

Motion guidance is useful because, without them, a normal motion tween is a straight line, meaning that motion is in a straight line motion, and if you want an arc of motion, the guide layer is necessary.

1. Create a guide layer for your left hand, select the left-hand layer, and click on the Guide Layer button on the timeline panel.

2. This hand layer will automatically be connected to the guided layer. Use the pencil or pen tool to draw a desired path.
