Select the Tap tool and click the Fill area or stroke segment that you want to erase to quickly erase it. If you erase only a portion of the stroke or fill area, you have to drag to erase it.
Click the eraser mode function key and select a erase mode:
1. "Standard erase" erases strokes and fills on the same layer.
2, "Erase fill" only erase fill, does not affect strokes.
3, "Erase line" only erase strokes, does not affect the fill.
4. Erase selected fills erases only the currently selected fill and does not affect strokes (regardless of whether the stroke is selected). Before using the Eraser tool in this mode, select the fill you want to erase.
5, "Internal erase" only erase the eraser stroke at the beginning of the fill. If you start erasing from an empty spot, nothing is erased. Using the eraser in this mode does not affect strokes.
