At present, many foreign software support information is published in PDF mode, if there is no Adobe Reader, unable to view its content, if there is no relevant editing software and cannot edit the PDF file. Conversion to DOC format allows for editing functions. Although some software can also be done to convert PDFs to Doc, but many of them do not support Chinese, we use the Microsoft Office Document Imaging component in Office 2003 to make this a requirement most convenient.
How to use:
Step one: First use Adobe Reader to open the PDF file you want to convert, then select the file → print menu, and in the Print Settings window that opens, set the name in the printer column to Microsoft Office document Image Writer , after confirming that the PDF file is exported as a virtual print file in MDI format.
Edit tip: If you do not find the Microsoft Office Document Image Writer item in the drop-down list for the name setting, it proves that you did not install the component when you installed Office 2003, using the The Add/Remove components update installs the component.
Second step: Run Microsoft Office document Imaging and use it to open the MDI file you just saved, select the "tools → send text to Word" menu, and in the pop-up window tick "keep picture layout unchanged when output", confirm the system prompt " You must rerun OCR before you perform this operation. This may take some time ", regardless of it, confirm it.
Editor's note: At present, all software including this tool is not particularly perfect for the recognition rate of PDF to Doc, and the original typesetting format will be lost after conversion, so you will need to do the post-typesetting and proofreading work manually after the conversion.
Adobe Reader cannot modify the PDF file, and the ADOBR acrobat software is available if it is to be modified. The way to modify PDF files with adobr acrobat software is to:
You open the PDF file, click "Tools"-"advanced editing Tools"-"Touchup Text Tool (T)", and then you click on the mouse to edit the place, there will be a rectangular border, in this box, you move the cursor to the location you want to edit, enter the text. If you need to change the font, size and color, you can select the text you click again with the right mouse button, this will pop up a dialog box, click on "Properties", and then in the Pop-up dialog box "text" column "Font size" in the "Fill" bar to select what you need.
Note: 1. A PDF file scanned with a scanner cannot be edited with the above method.
