Android 4.4 Much-needed new features

Google is about to officially release the Android 4.4 KitKat. As far as we know, some new user interfaces suggest some new changes to the operating system, such as redesigned phone applications, such as the cancellation of Google services such as keep and drive, and so on. There is no doubt that store applications will be greatly improved.

From KitKat's brand new name, we can guess that there will be a lot of changes to the previous version of Jelly Bean. We've written about possible changes in previous articles, but everyone has a bigger expectation of the system. From better backup solutions to more convenient use of NFC, here are the five new features we would most like to see on Android 4.4.

1. A true backup solution

The anticipation of this feature has been going on for a while. Of course, for the current system, you can back up your app with the home screen, or even automatically back up photos to Google +, but we'd rather see a backup scenario like Apple icloud. We should be able to save all the data we need, not just the location of the program on the screen.

Google has provided more space for Google Drive to users, so the need for storage has been met, and the remaining question is how to store all of your phone's data in the cloud. What we want to see is that when you buy a new Android phone, turn it on, log on to Google account and choose the most recent backup, and then recover all the data, including the text messages, email accounts, social networks, etc. that we have previously retained.

2, a set of people willing to use Google Information Services

Google already has a layout for this area. Google Voice allows you to send free text messages, although the popularity is not comparable to the imessage on the iOS side. Hangouts is also a good performance, but it is more like a network chat tool, and lack of some of the meaning of SMS services. We want chat tools like imessage or BlackBerry BBM to automatically send free text messages via Google. This also means the need for group functions, and quickly share pictures, video and other functions, and this service also supports Wi-Fi and mobile data network.
