Arcgisserver 10.1 was reinstalled recently because of the replacement system. The process encountered a few small problems, although all solved, but also spent a lot of time. Here are two common problems and solutions that are shared for your reference. 1. localhost:6080 (<>:6080) not accessible
As ArcGIS 10.1for server begins, ESRI replaces the previous Som-socs architecture with the ArcGIS Server site architecture. So after the setup file is complete, the first time you run ArcGIS server you need to log on to the Manager to create the site.
But in some cases, when we are done with the installation, the link is inaccessible when we jump to http://localhost:6080/arcgis/manager/. The following figure:
At this time we will generally consider Web server conflicts or installation issues.
The simple first thing to do is to install errors in the server. However, it was found to remain inaccessible after the installation. This time only slowly to the investigation. At 10.1 Start server is built with Tomcat and occupies 6080 ports as a GIS server. So installing the 10.1 or later version eliminates the need to configure IIS or install Apache. Because the native has installed Apache and modified many configurations, it may interfere with each other. So will Apache shut down, but localhost:6080 still inaccessible, and then open Apache after http://localhost access normal, http://localhost:6080 is still inaccessible. This is the time to confirm that Tomcat is a problem and to think that Tomcat is not booting. Then look in the service and discover that there are no Tomcat service entries, but finally discover that the ArcGIS server's service items are not started.
Try to start the service, finally http://localhost:6080/arcgis/manager/access normal.
Solution:
View the list of services and start the ArcGIS Server service entry. 2. When you log on to Server Manager, always show "please later ..."
New to complete ArcGIS Serversite, set user name and password. But the landing is found to be in the waiting state, the following figure:
After the replacement for IE browser found that you can log in and exit after landing normal again. After a number of attempts to find this problem only in the Chrome browser or using the Chrome kernel browser (such as the Cheetah, Sogou, 360, etc.) in the extreme speed mode.
After consulting some documents and forums, I finally found the reason and solution: The problem is because ArcGIS Server site uses the Dojo framework, but the dojo version used in Server 10.1 itself has some bugs, So this problem will appear in chrome. The issue of dojo updates has been fixed in 10.2 or later versions. So we just need to replace the new dojo.
Solution:
Visit the Dojo download address http://downloads.dojotoolkit.org/release-1.6.2/Download the new 1.6.2, as shown in the following figure:
The Dojo folder is obtained after decompression, which reads as follows:
At this point we only need to copy them to the corresponding directory of the Server to replace, the specific path is C:\Program files\arcgis\server\framework\runtime\tomcat\webapps\arcgis# Manager\js\dojo (Install the letter of choice), paste copy directly.
Chrome access returns to normal after the update completes.
I hope this article will help you.
