Blog traffic analysis and preliminary methods on how to increase the number of csdn blog visits

Source: Internet
Author: User

Previously, I wrote "Blog Traffic and access statistics over the past month".

First, the unique visitor for one month is 57 people, and some of my visits should be removed.

Analysis of visitor access sources

Among 81 visitors:

* 16.05% direct traffic: I can think that most of them are accessed by myself.

* 29.63% referring sites: some of them are also from writeblog.csdn.net, so some of them are accessed by myself.

* 54.32% search engines: This part is completely new visitors.

It can be seen that in addition to the search engine, some of the traffic comes from csdn's RSS and hi.csdn.net, which is always better than none. Although csdn cannot provide me with the expected traffic, it is helpful. In addition, if the longer the blog time, the more friends, the more active the community, it should bring more traffic. Therefore, word of mouth is also a process of accumulation.

Let's take a look at whether people from some sources are interested in the content of the blog or accidentally find it.

I sorted by average time on site and got the following results (The strikethrough section is some access statistics I think are my own) and some simple analyses:

1. csdn.net/referral 00:05:55

2. wz.csdn.net/referral 00:04:00
3. hi.csdn.net/referral 00: 02: 40: access from hi.csdn.net is generally a friend, and its access time is also the longest.

4. Google.com/referral 00: 02: 06: I suspect that I have subscribed to RSS through Google Reader for access statistics. Why is it possible to access the page because the RSS of csdn does not support full-text output.

5. google/organic 00: 01: 31

6. writeblog.csdn.net/referral 00:00:32
7. (direct)/(none) 00: 00: 16: This confused me very much. It is reasonable to say that I cannot cause so many direct access.

8. Baidu/organic 00: 00: 05: Why didn't Baidu search provide users with correct search results? However, you should click the title only when you see it. I don't know what is wrong here. Every user stays for 5 seconds, which is strange.
9. Baidu.com/referral 00: 00: 00: I don't know what is going on.

Analysis on the Influence of Blog content on traffic

The following table lists the results of sorting by average time on page. The reading time of the subsequent page is basically less than 10 seconds, so it is ignored.

First, let's look at pageviews:

The highest access volume is "using 12 instances to explain several C ++ concepts", which accounts for more than half of the total access volume of the blog. Although the title is a little scary, it was written by the title party on purpose, but there are indeed 12 class statements. The bounce rate and exit rate are the lowest. If you are not clear about the meaning of the bounce rate, you can search for it online. It can be seen that a high-quality article is important to attract visitors and allow visitors to stay on your website. The average stay time is about 4 minutes. We can see that this blog also provides you with the required content.
