Because the Windows Server family is a server-and workstation-oriented operating system, Microsoft has shielded many of its day-to-day functions, such as Bluetooth devices that cannot be used on Windows Server 2008.
Although Microsoft technical expert Gil Kirkpatrick has given a solution recently, it needs to perform up to 20 steps, quite complicated, especially in the middle to edit the INF file. Robert McLaws, from the Windows now blog, is inspired by this simple approach that requires a few familiar steps to install Bluetooth Stack on 64-bit Windows Server 2008.
1, the normal way to install Bluetooth driver
2, download the ZIP compression package file and extract to any directory (such as C:\BT)
3. Open Device Manager
4, in the unknown device entry on the right button and choose to update the driver
5, manually browse to just unzip the directory and then determine
6. Perform the same operation on other unknown devices
If nothing happens, your Bluetooth device can be used properly on the Windows Server 2008 x64.
