Chrome frame allows you to use chrome in IE

Google has an Open-source project called the chrome Frame, which allows Chrome's rendering engine to run inside Microsoft's IE 6, 7, 8. This plugin allows developers to choose whether to switch to chrome rendering and JavaScript engines. Users can continue to use IE, completely seamless switch, the user interface will not change significantly.

Chrome Drilling in IE

Speaking of this plugin, Google Mike Smith and Alex Russell tell us that many companies do not need ie. After all, many of these companies ' infrastructure inputs can only be compatible with IE. But Google also points out that this (ie only compatible) must not be a reason to hinder developers from using newer, faster, more modern browsers, such as Chrome.

Google didn't get Microsoft's help when it developed the plugin, but the two pointed out that Microsoft offers developers a lot of ways to expand IE easily.

Based on the developer

With this plugin, developers can at least allow users to switch to a faster rendering engine by adding a line of code before the URL.

Users can invoke the plugin by adding "CF:" before any URL, but they are not able to permanently switch to the chrome engine.

Google clearly wants to break into corporate content with its own web products. These products require a faster JavaScript engine, and IE is not good at it. But as Mike Smith has said, the Internet cannot be stalled by the product of IE.

As for the user experience, Google's people tell us that the plug-in switch is absolutely seamless, users in IE can enjoy the speed and reliability of chrome.

Trojan horse?

Google wants the plugin to help developers write code for a modern browser, rather than an Internet Explorer. That sounds beautiful. But does Google want to use this plugin to implant "Trojans" in these companies, to promote Google products in the future to bury the foreshadowing? After all, few companies are going to abandon IE and go to chrome. This plug-in allows users to kill each other, from the long look, Google is long leash there bar.

As for Google itself, the company intends to improve the use of Google Wave in IE using chrome frame, but there is no plan to apply the plugin to other products.
