I wonder if you have ever encountered such a problem? When the Internet is busy, the IE window suddenly opens until the resources are exhausted and the system crashes? Recently, I have been surfing the internet, and my computer has been opening the IE window, leading to excessive system memory usage and crashes. Although I am using IE 6 and have protection against the virus and firewall, I am still trying to do it.

Later, I checked the information to know that it was a script virus. In fact, it is a hacker named "WSH. WSH is indispensable for script virus execution. WSH stands for "Windows Scripting Host". It is a language-independent script interpretation mechanism provided by Microsoft Based on the 32-bit Windows platform, it enables the script to run directly on a Windows desktop or command prompt. Wsh's corresponding program named wscript.exe is a script language interpreter located in the Windows folder. Most systems will have WSH installed by default. It is because of this that the script can be executed, and it also provides a way to spread the script virus.

WSH is intended to allow the system administrator to configure the desktop environment and system services for minimal management. Therefore, it is of little use to the vast majority of common users. Therefore, you only need to uninstall it to prevent malicious virus intrusion!

The procedure is as follows: in Windows 98 (or Windows NT 4.0 or later), open [my computer] → [Control Panel] → [Add/delete programs], select "Windows Installer", and then double-click the "attachment" option to bring up the () window. Remove the check box of "Windows Scripting Host" and click [OK] twice to uninstall it. I uninstalled it and accessed the Internet without encountering malicious code. It seems that it is quite effective!

In addition, there are some common methods to prevent malicious scripts:

1. you can open "my computer ", click [view] → [Folder Options] → [file type]. In the file type, set the suffix to "VBS, VBE, JS, JSE, WSH, and WSF" for all script files. all operations are deleted. In this way, these files will not be executed.

2. Disable ActiveX plug-ins, controls, and Java in iesettings to avoid malicious code attacks. Open IE, click [tools] → [Internet Options] → [security] → [Custom Level], and in the "Security Settings" dialog box, disable all ActiveX plug-ins, controls, and Java-related components. However, after doing so, we will not be able to appreciate some beautifully crafted web pages.

3. upgrade the system and IE in a timely manner and install patches. Select a good anti-virus software and upgrade it in a timely manner. Do not visit websites with unknown experience easily. In this way, most of the malicious code will be rejected by us.
