Computer Boot method

What is the method of computer boot? The answer is simply: "Just press the power switch button on the computer's chassis." This is, of course, the easiest way. However, in fact, there are many ways to open the computer, the following is to introduce two kinds of computer boot method.

Method One: Set up a regular boot

The real-time clock (real time CLOCK,RTC) on the motherboard is responsible for the timing of the system and can be specified on the RTC as the alarm clock. However, since this feature is rarely used, some of the motherboards that provide this feature (such as Intel's original motherboard) do not actually boot at the specified time, so the user is best tested before it is formally used.

The specific mode of operation is:

1, after the computer boot according to the information on the screen to press the "Del" key to enter the motherboard BIOS Settings screen, with a regular boot-related settings generally placed in the "Power Management Setup" option.

2, in the BIOS has an "RTC Alarm poweron" option, should be set to "Enabled" (Enable). After that, the user can set the date, hour, minute and second of timing.

3, in order to ensure that the computer accurately realize the function of timing automatically, the user must first check the motherboard BIOS in the system time is the same as the actual time.

4, the last step to remember the motherboard BIOS in the settings to save the changes in the preset time to boot. Some motherboards can also be set to automatically boot from the BIOS at the same time on a daily basis by changing the "RTC Alarm Date" to "Every Day".

However, to remind everyone, if the use of the BIOS automatically boot, the user's Windows operating system can only use one account, otherwise it is not possible to automatically boot and then automatically log on to Windows.

Method Two: Use keyboard/mouse to boot

If the computer case is placed in a difficult position, using the keyboard/mouse to boot is a good solution. Note, however, that this feature only supports keyboards and mice that are connected with the PS/2 interface, but it is not possible to connect using a USB interface. To enable the option of the "Power on by PS/2 keyboard" in the motherboard BIOS, you can select a different boot hotkey, such as Ctrl+e, which is the most common boot hotkey.

A single power key designed on the keyboard can be turned on when the

is selected, or after a key, but only partially compliant with the Keyboard 98 specification will support this feature. Of course, the power button on the chassis is still available. As for using the mouse to boot is also very simple, in the BIOS setup options and keyboard boot settings similar, and then only need to click the mouse button can start the computer.
