Computers belong to the people

I think of the old American PC revolution as a saying: "computers belong to the people." At that time, only large companies such as IBM and Dec could make and use computers, A computer can easily cost millions of dollars, while ordinary people cannot own their own computers.

The value of a software company is not how many "core" and "key" technologies it has mastered, the difference lies in whether it's something that allows people to reach their potential. Those with artistic talent can use Photoshop to show their talents. Those with music cells can use Composing software to show their talents, people with business acumen can develop their own business through financial software... if so many talented people waste their time and minds on how to learn and operate computers, what is the use of computers for them? What value does our programmers have?

In terms of "serving the people", how many companies have better understanding than Microsoft? Let's borrow one sentence from Microsoft's advertisement: "because we know that our power lies in your (customer) power." It is true that the power of a software company (value ), it lies in the strength of the customer (realizing the value of the customer). Why are there so many people always attacking? How bad Microsoft's Windows technology is, and Kingdee's K/3 was actually written in VB, wait... the value of Windows is to allow countless people who do not understand computers to save countless times and immediately use computers to serve themselves. The value of K/3 is to allow enterprises to immediately benefit from informatization ,. the value of net/Java lies in lower cost, higher efficiency, and lower cost for customers to build software systems.
