CorelDRAW make transparent small water drop button

You know, with Photoshop can make beautiful buttons, in fact, with CorelDRAW also can make a bright button. Below we combine a small water droplet transparent button example to look at the production process in CorelDRAW, through this example practice, extrapolate, analogy.

Before making, you should first analyze the parts of the button and its shape, the typical button is roughly divided into the following parts:

button Shadow section;

Gloss Zone;

Transparent gradient of gloss area;

Highlight area;

Text characters and their shadows.

First, we want to create basic graphics: button body, highlight area, gloss area.

1. Select the Ellipse tool, hold down the CTRL key, draw a circle, as the basic shape of the button body, depending on the size of the button you want to make.

2. Copy this circle again: Drag the circle up, to the button shape above the appropriate position, press the right mouse button and then release (or press the keypad "+" key)

3. Copy of the circle as a button gloss area, but also need to be further adjusted: first the circle into a curve, with the shape of the tool will be molded into Figure 2 shape, and moved to the appropriate position within the circle.

4. Now create a highlight area and add a perspective effect: Draw an ellipse below the inside of the button shape, making it slightly smaller than the button, and the height is much smaller, as shown in Figure 3.

5. Select the ellipse, open the ADD Perspective command on the Effects menu, press the SHIFT and CTRL key, and drag the perspective control point outward from the upper ellipse, as shown in Figure 4.

6. OK, now that you have the basic shape you need, first of all, remove the contour lines of the basic graphics, plus the fill color. The specific color values are set as follows: (in this case, using the HSB color mode)

Button body: (hsb:150,100,40),

Gloss area: (hsb:122,7,97)

Highlight Area (hsb:120,100,100)

The result is shown in Figure 5.

7. It can be seen that the button is only a preliminary completion of the fill color, but also to further elaborate modification. Let's start by decorating the gloss area: Select an interactive blending tool, drag from the center of the highlight area to the center of the button body, and create a harmonic effect, in which you try to reconcile the steps. If the button body and highlight area of the harmony will be shaded area, please use the "shift+pgup" command to arrange the gloss area to the front. The results are shown in Figure 6.
