Create a cell data chart in Excel 2010

Can you imagine a line chart, a histogram, and these graphs being placed in a small cell? The mini-chart feature of Excel 2010 provides you with the convenience of creating cell data graphs efficiently and easily!

1. Open the Excel workbook that you want to create a sparkline for (if it is an Excel 97-2003 workbook, please click on the "File" button, go to the background view, in the "Information" page, click on the "Convert" button and according to the prompts to save the xlsx format of the workbook, clicking the Insert tab page;

2. Click on any button in the "Sparkline" feature group, such as the "Line Chart" button;

3. In the Create Sparkline dialog box, edit the data range and position range two parameters individually, and then select the range directly in the workbook each time you edit it by using the mouse pointer. The "range of data" here refers to the data source of the Sparkline, and "position range" refers to the range of cells where the sparkline will be placed;

4. When you click the OK button, you will see the mini chart. In this case, we created the monthly Sales column chart for the first half of the fifth Street store;

With a simple four steps above, you have successfully created a mini chart. With the mini chart, we can quickly and clearly find that the store has the most sales in February and March.

Of course, you can also use the AutoFill feature to make the following stores have such a mini chart, or, when you select a sparkline, change its style (such as changing the color scheme, and so on), type (change to a line chart or profit and loss chart), and set special points in the display sparkline (such as highs, lows, negative points, and so on).
