When you create a hyperlink in a Word 2010 document, the link address can point to not only the Web page, but also any file, including Word documents, Excel files, and so on. However, only files that are supported by the link to the machine program can be opened when you click the hyperlink. The steps to create a link to a specified file hyperlink in a Word 2010 document are described below:
Step 1th, open the Word 2010 document window and select the text you want to create a hyperlink for. Switch to the Insert ribbon and click the Hyperlink button in the Links group, as shown in Figure 2011080904.

Step 2nd, in the Insert Hyperlink dialog box that opens, leave the link to area with the all Files or pages option selected. Then click the Look in Drop-down triangle button, locate and select the linked target file, and click OK, as shown in Figure 2011080905.
