Create an Undead directory, not a dead file

First we need to know a few knowledge

Use of the type command

redirect

Basic cmd operation

Let's start with the tutorial

First go to cmd

Then we switch to d:\ using the CD command

We first create a test file "A.txt", the file content is as follows

Next use the type command and redirect to redirect this text file to another file, note that if you want to ensure that the file is completely hidden from the dead file, you need to name the filename in the following format.

Format: "...: x.y", for example:: B.txt

:

If there are no errors displayed as shown in the results of the operation, you have successfully created them.

We use the dir command to see what files are in the current directory

We use the same method to create another ". C.txt "

Use dir to view the file

At this point we can find that there are no files displayed, that is, we want to hide the purpose of the document has been initially completed. Why is that preliminary? Because we haven't checked whether it's really hidden. Here we open the folder option and show all the hidden.

Click Apply, OK.

Then we look at the files under the directory as follows.

We found that the.: B.txt and.: C.txt did not show up, which means that the two files have been truly hidden.

So how are we going to open these two files, the answer is to open with a command, if it is a Notepad file, open with Notepad, if the other is open with other software, if it is a program, use the Start command directly to open. For more information, see Windows Help.

Here we demonstrate before opening the: B.txt

This allows us to successfully open the file with the same content as the A.txt file created at the beginning.

See here people may be very puzzled why is called Immortal file, the reason is this, if this file is created in the root directory, then this file can not be deleted, only the format of this disk can be deleted. If it is in the directory, then you can only forcibly delete the directory. However, it is important to note that if you forget the name of the file, you cannot open it.

There is also a hidden way to hide a file under the file name of another file.

For example: There are two files in A.txt and B.txt,

Then use "Type B.txt>>a.txt:b.txt"

So you can hide the b.txt. However, it should be noted that if the a.txt is deleted, then the hidden file "A.txt:b.txt" will be deleted at the same time.

The way the file is hidden we already know, then how to hide the directory?

The command we use here is "MD", which is the command to create a directory

Just name the folder to be aware that the folder should be named "Test...\"

For example:

This allows us to successfully create an undead directory.

Then we open this directory in Explorer and the effect

We find that we can't open it properly, so how can we open this directory?

Use to start running, and then enter the directory for this folder,

And then you can open it.
