1. New Data template

In the left menu bar under the Console tab, click Data Templates connection to open the New Data Template window.

In the New Data Template window, click the Add button to add "Data Templates".

Fill in the following sections:

1). The name of first name is the template, you can customize the settings, and then fill out the "Windows-cpu Usage";

2). Name the second name is the name of the data source, and then fill in the "Windows-cpu Usage";

3). Data Input method, select "Get SNMP";

4). Internal the name of the data source name "WINDOWSCPU";

5). Minimum and maximum these two values, if not filled, represent the upper and lower values of the graph using the maximum and minimum values of the data source;

6). Data Source Type Select "COUNTER";

7). Enter the OID value, which is one of the most critical aspects of defining a data source, to confirm that the OID is real. Click "Save" to save the data source.

Back to the main interface, you can see the newly created data source "Windows-cpu Usage".

2. New Drawing Template (graph templates)

In the left menu bar under the Console tab, click Graph Templates connection to open the New Drawing Template window.

Click the Add button in the New Drawing template window to add "Graph Templates".

Fill in the following sections:

1). The name of first name is the template, you can customize the settings, and then fill out the "Windows-cpu Usage";

2). Title draws the caption of the picture, where "|host_description|" Equivalent to a variable that is automatically replaced with a host description when drawing.

3). The Verticle Lab is displayed on the left side of the picture, usually the unit or description used for the drawing.

Click the "Create" button to create a drawing template.

Here we need to create the graph we need to display with the data source defined above. A data source typically needs to define four data values, area map, current value, average value, and maximum values, which show the state of the system for different periods of time, respectively. Tap Add to add "Graph template Items".

Fill in the following sections:

1). Data source selects the defined datasource template;

2). Color only one of the graph item type graphic item types selected is area, STACK, LINE1, LINE2, LINE3 to select a color for the data source;

3). The graph item type defines the item types for the graphic, because it is the first graphic item, so select "area";

4). The Text Format defines a display name;

Other values remain the default, click "Create".

Click Add to continue adding "Graph template Items".

Add the current run value and fill in the following:

1). Data Source Select "Windows-cpu Usage-(WINDOWSCPU)"

2). Graph item Type selects the "Gprint" graphic item types, and only this type can define current, average, and maximum values.

3). Consolidation function Selects "Last", which represents the currently running value

4). The Text Format defines the name that is displayed in the chart.

To add an average, simply modify the contents of "Consolidation Function" and "Text Format".

To add the maximum value, and also to modify the contents of "Consolidation Function" and "Text Format", check the box in front of "insert hard return" to indicate that you are inserting a solid carriage return, so that you do not overlap with the other newly created legends on one line.

If you want to add additional data sources, you can add them as described above, which allows you to draw data from multiple data sources onto a single graph.

Here is a four CPU drawing template:

Click the "Save" button to return to the main screen and complete the creation of the drawing template.

Using the drawing template you just created, select the host you want to use this template in devices. In the Add Graph template drop-down box, select the--WINDOWS-CPU usage that you just created, and then click the Add button.

Click the top-most create Graphs for this Host connection. Select the Windows-cpu usage mapping template and click the "Create" button to create a monitor chart for the host.

3. Create a host template

In the left menu bar under the Console tab, click Host Templates connection to open the New Host Template window.

In the New Host Template window, click the Add button to add "host Templates".

Fill in the host Templates name and click the Create button to create a new host Templates.

Under associated Graph templates, add the drawing template that you want to add to this host template, and under associated data Queries, add the Data query template that you want to add to this host template.

Click the "Save" button to complete the creation of the host template.

To apply this host template, create a new host in devices, and in the host template drop-down box, select the--windows Server that you just created. Click the "Create" button to create a new host.

Click the top-most create Graphs for this Host connection. Select the desired drawing template and click the "Create" button to create a monitor chart for the host.

Add the new monitor map to graph Trees, create a node in graph Trees, select the monitor diagram you want to add to this node in graph Management, select Place in a in the Choose an action drop-down box Tree (the root node of this node), click the Go button.

Select the node to which you want to add the monitor diagram.

Click the "Yes" button to complete the Add.

In graph trees view the added monitoring chart, and can adjust the monitor map display location.
