There are a lot of big cows in the garden, many of which are engaged in management, but few share management experience. I think if we can share some management with us, we will understand management as a technology, more experienced in management.

From graduation to now, I have been engaged in both project management and technology. Although I have no experience, I can provide some experience to my friends who have never worked, I want to share my experience with you.

What I want to talk about today is that customers are more important than products:

I want to read more questions. May I immediately feel that this is still for discussion? Some may be resolute opposition. I have two hands-on experiences to discuss this issue.

I. The sales staff are bragging every day, so we can't stand it anymore.

We may sometimes feel that the sales staff is lying and not blushing. Obviously we don't have this function, and we can't implement it. All sales staff say no problem, or even what the sales staff says is wrong, our technical staff cannot stand it anymore. If you work as a presales consultant with sales, you may not be able to stand it. But what I want to say is that the technical staff are relatively simple, that is, they are all good people and don't want to lie. However, if the sales staff is as simple as you are, then the customer will be absent, because the customer does not understand the technology, and the two people who do not know the technology have a common language, isn't it? (For example, when I went to junior high school, I was in my hometown. I told an old man who didn't learn that the Earth had been spinning all the time. He told me that I was reading a wrong book ), sometimes sales know that you are talking about bragging, but if you don't talk about it, customers don't even have a chance to handle you. If you find someone else to do the project, you may wonder that others are worse than you, why can I pick up tickets? Because other people's sales can be even better, and the technical staff can blow up the tickets together, the list is basically not enough. And even if you don't get this list, you lose this product, but if you win the customer, he may buy another product, or, if you have another problem with the project, you can try again, because sales know that the customer is more important than the product itself.

 

2. It doesn't matter if the product is good or bad. I only care about whether your product can make me money or improve my performance.

The direct owner of many of our project customers is generally not "Emperor", but "jian". I have been in contact with a customer and said that it is secondary for your product to run, what's important is whether or not I can make money while I am in charge, so that I can improve my performance, even if your system is just a decoration. Therefore, we need to pay special attention to this in our product functions. For example, there is a finance department in this project, the finance department is responsible for your project, and the finance department is responsible for a product. This product is sold much more, if they make a lot of money, this is the focus of designing products. How can we make it easier to buy such products and increase the quantity? (the example here has some special characteristics ).

 

Iii. Over-design and development will lead to loss of customer trust

Sometimes we recommend our own ideas to customers too much and think that this will be better and the product will be perfect, but the customer doesn't care about your function at all. For example, the customer says to design a search function, show all the products, developers I Don't Have want to sort them and make Ajax results, and then tell the customer some time. Customers will be bored (except for technical knowledge and user psychology knowledge, but remember that our customers are generally concerned with costs, just like we buy clothes, and others say I will give you a price, I think you may not have bought one RMB ).

 

4. "You should be right in this way" will make the customer very disgusted.

Many of us often think that the customer has a problem with his mind. How can he do this? It's not good, but the customer wants to do that. Why don't we do that? What do you think is better, that's just what you think. For example, if we want to go to the front and sit there, the barber will give you a curly hair. The more you want to flatten your hair, he just said that you are not easy to understand. Will you still get a haircut here? I think it may take a long time to think about it.

 

Of course, some of the above may only show domestic customers. foreign customers may not apply, but they only understand them. You are welcome to give different opinions.

In a word, keep an eye on the customer and do not pay for the product itself.
