I. DataCubeIt is defined by dimensions and facts.
A dimension is a perspective or entity that an organization wants to save records. One or a group of attributes in the corresponding dimension mode. This mode should be a fact table (central table ).
Each dimension has a table associated with it, which is called a dimension table. It further represents the dimension. Dimension tables can be set by users or experts, or automatically generated and adjusted based on data distribution.
Multidimensional Data Models are organized around the central topic. The topic is represented in a fact table. The fact is measured in numerical values.
A fact table includes the name or measurement of a fact and the code of each dimension table.
2. The most popular data warehouse data model is a multidimensional model, which can be a star model, a snowflake model, or a fact constellation model.
Iii. cuboid
A set of given dimensions can generate a cube for each possible subset of a given dimension
Given the n-dimensional dimension, you can generate (N power of 2) cubes (including all, that is, 0-d cuboid), where n-d is the basic cube base cuboid.
