This keyboard is USB interface, Dell 8115 A03, used for more than a year on the desktop at home. A week ago, this 8115 error began to occur: during operation, a sudden power loss occurred, no response was made by pressing any key, and no indicator was on, after a while, the operating system will suddenly report that the hardware has been found, and the indicator lights on the keyboard will automatically light up, and all the buttons will return to normal. This situation has been repeated many times. I used the exclusion method to check and found that the 8115 keyboard is used on another machine (such as my ThinkPad external), and it is normal, however, using a PS/2 keyboard to connect to my desktop is also normal. Is there an error with the USB interface? I checked the relevant information, but I did not get any results until the previous two days, the keyboard suddenly recovered to normal, and there was no problem.
After thinking over and over for a long time, there was no such problem as power supply. In the past week or so, the outdoor temperature reached the highest level since the summer, and the two air conditioners in the house were almost always on, it was not until the first two days of heavy rainfall, the temperature dropped a lot, and the air conditioner was not turned on for two days. It is estimated that the temperature is too high and the air conditioner consumes too much energy, resulting in insufficient USB keyboard power supply. It seems that I want to change the power supply.
