Cleverly "move" to a DHCP server

Server hardware upgrades are unavoidable, and every time an upgrade is done, network administrators often spend a lot of time reconfiguring data and other parameter options on the DHCP server! In fact, to the DHCP server "Moving" is a skill to follow, as long as we follow the following methods to the DHCP server "move", you can play a multiplier effect:

First, the DHCP parameters in the old server are exported to a specific text file. When you export DHCP server parameters, you can click the start/Run command in the old server System desktop, and in the pop-up System Run dialog box, enter the string command "cmd", and click Enter to switch the system state to the MS-DOS window state;

At the DOS command prompt, the input string commands "netsh dhcp server export C:\dhcpback.txt all", and when you click Enter, all configuration parameters from the DHCP server are exported to the "C:\dhcpback" file. Copy the plain text file to the flash disk at the same time;

Once the string command above has been executed successfully, right-click the My Computer icon in the old server system desktop, run the Manage command from the shortcut menu that pops up, and open the local server system's Computer Management window; In the left list area of the window, double-click Services and applications with the mouse. /Services project, in the right-hand list area of the corresponding service project, double-click the DHCP service in the DHCP Services setting window, and click the Stop button to temporarily stop the DHCP service in the old server system;

Log on to the upgraded new server system as a super administrator, and then copy the "Dhcpback" file from the flash drive to a specific partition directory on the local system, assuming that we still save the file to the C disk. After that, we then click the Start/Run command in the new server System desktop. In the pop-up System Run dialog box, enter the string command "cmd" and click Enter to switch the system state to the MS-DOS window state; next to the DOS command prompt, enter the string command " netsh dhcp server import C:\dhcpback.txt all, when you click Enter, all configuration parameters in the Dhcpback.txt file are imported to the newly created DHCP server. Once we have done the above, we then execute the start/program/admin Tools command in turn. Then double-click the DHCP service icon in the Administrative Tools window that pops up, and in the DHCP server console interface that pops up, right-click the destination DHCP server and perform the start on the shortcut menu command, so that the newly created DHCP server will soon function. Of course, the above method works only in Windows 2003 server systems.
