Installing the Fastdfs is simple.
Install the libevent first, install the FASTDFS after the installation is successful.
./make.sh
./make.sh Install
I use a tracker server 192.168.2.85, two storage servers 192.168.2.98 192.168.2.222
Before starting the tracker server, perform mkdir-p/home/yuqing/fastdfs, because this directory is the directory where log files are generated in the default configuration file tracker.conf.
Execute the following command to start:
Fdfs_trackerd/etc/fdfs/tracker.conf
For the storage server, you need to modify the IP address inside the configuration file to point to the tracker server.
In addition, I am deploying 2 groups of storage servers,
So the storage.conf of the 192.168.2.98 server Group_name=group1
Storage.conf of the 192.168.2.222 server group_name=group2
tracker_server=192.168.2.85:22122
Other defaults are available.
The start command is as follows:
Fdfs_storaged/etc/fdfs/storage.conf
In addition, Fastdfs also comes with a monitoring program, executed with the following command
Fdfs_monitor/etc/fdfs/storage.conf
Because Fastdfs is also the way to provide the API to implement the client, fuse is not supported.
For me, I need a system that supports fuse, so I'm not going to test the throughput.
