Dreamweaver How to create a jump menu

First, insert the Jump menu in the Dreamweaver

1. Click the mouse, positioning the cursor in the form frame line, click the "Insert" menu, select "Form" Item, in the Pop-up submenu select "Jump Menu" command.

Or select the form item in the Insert panel and click the Jump Menu icon, as shown in the following illustration:

Click on the "Window" menu and select "Insert" to open the Insert panel.

2. Click on the "Jump Menu" icon, pop-up "Insert Jump Menu" dialog box, as shown in the following image:

3. In this dialog box, you can do the following:

Click the + button to increase the menu item, or click the-button to delete the menu item.

Click the up and down buttons to change the position of the menu item in the list.

Text: Modify the name of the menu item in the text box.

When you choose, go to the URL: Enter the URL to which you want to jump to the menu item, or click the Browse button to select the page or object you want to link from the disk.

Open URL to: Select the location where the target document will be opened. If it is a frames page, the frame window appears.

Menu ID: Enter the ID name for the menu item, which is used in the program code.

Option menu, insert the Go button: Select this and insert the Go button after the menu. Click the button in the browser to jump to the appropriate page.

Select the first item after the change URL of the option: Select this item, and when you jump to the specified URL, the first item is still selected by default.

4. When the settings are complete, click OK to exit the Insert Jump Menu dialog box and insert a jump menu in the form.

5. Click the "Jump Menu" form control in the document, as shown in the following illustration:

6. Open the Jump Menu properties panel, as shown in the following illustration:

7. You can see that the panel is actually the list/menu property panel, and you edit the Jump menu by setting the List/Menu property panel method.

8. Click the "Go" button, as shown in the following image:

9. Open the Button "Properties" Panel, as shown in the following illustration:

10. On the button's Properties panel, you can set various properties of the button.

11. At this point, the Jump menu creation and property settings are all complete.

Second, tips

To position the cursor in a box with a red dotted line in the form, press the ENTER key to add multiple jump menus.
