The MAT (Memory Analyzer Tool) is analyzed based on the heap dumps, and its analysis is faster than jhat, and the result is a graphical interface display that is more readable than the Java built-in Jhat.
Installation steps through the Eclipse market
- 1 Open Eclipse->help-> Eclipse Marketplace
- 2 Click Install, wait for the following progress bar to finish loading, tick all, click Next
- 3 after agreeing to the agreement, click Finish to start installing Mat.
Directly Enter URL installation steps
- Open Eclipse->help-> Install New Software
- Tick the memory Analyzer for ECLIPSE IDE option in the work with input diagram
- If the memory Analyzer for ECLIPSE IDE option is not checked, click Add next to the Address bar, enter the above address in the location, and click OK.
- After installation is prompted to restart Eclipse, after restarting the window-> Open perspective, see the memory analysis to prove that the installation was successful.
Precautions
- Some versions of Eclipse have a lower version without the eclipse market, you can choose Method 2 installation, or you can choose to download and install a separate Mat program
