Count API
The Count API allows developers to simply execute a query that returns the total number of documents that match the query criteria. It can be executed across multiple indexes and across multiple types.
import static org.elasticsearch.index.query.xcontent.FilterBuilders.*;import static org.elasticsearch.index.query.xcontent.QueryBuilders.*;CountResponse response = client.prepareCount("test") .setQuery(termQuery("_type", "type1")) .execute() .actionGet();
Manipulating threads
It has three threading modes. The pattern indicates that the operation is executed in the NO_THREADS
current thread; The SINGLE_THREAD
pattern indicates that the operation is performed in a separate, distinct thread, and that all shards share the thread; The THREAD_PER_SHARD
pattern indicates that the operation executes in a separate thread, and a shard is a thread. The default mode is SINGLE_THREAD
.
