Introduction to IE Enterprise Model

Enterprise mode: compatible mode running on Windows 8.1 update and Windows 7 Internet Explorer 11. This allows websites to use a browser configuration modification method that imitates Internet Explorer 8, avoid common compatibility issues in Web applications written and tested on earlier versions of Internet Explorer.

Enterprise Model features

The enterprise model provides the following functions:

• Tool-based website list management. Use the enterprise mode site list management tool to add the website domain name and domain name path, and specify whether the website is displayed in enterprise mode. • Centralized Control. Using group policies to enable or disable Enterprise mode from the tool menu determines whether the enterprise's browser configuration file appears on the simulation Tab Of the F12 developer tool.
