Work often need to carefully proofread a variety of complex Excel table data, if all rely on the eye proofing, it is easy to make mistakes. If the Excel table can read the table data, not only does it reduce the amount of work, it's not easy to make mistakes.
In Excel2003, we can use the read-aloud cell feature by selecting the Text To Speech check box from the View-toolbar. Because this feature is not the default when you install Excel, you are prompted to insert the Office CD to install this feature on the first use.
When used, open the text To Speech toolbar, the data file with the mouse to select the first data to read aloud, and then according to the sort of data to choose whether "by row" or "by column" to read aloud, when the setting is completed, click the "Aloud cell" button on it.
If you select the "Start aloud by entering" button, you can also enter the data on the side of the speech proofing, so that after the completion of a cell input and press ENTER, Excel will automatically read the contents of the cell.
EXCEL2007 also has this feature, but it is not easy to find, the default label or the Ribbon can not be found, the user needs to customize settings. Let's look at where the voice reading in Excel2007 is hidden, and then add the voice to the Excel2007 Quick Launch toolbar.
Right-click the Rounded Office button in the upper-left corner of the Excel2007 and choose Customize Quick Access Toolbar from the right-click menu.

On the Customize Quick Access Toolbar tab, select the commands that are not in the Ribbon from the Select commands from the Drop-down menu below.

In this menu we can see "press ENTER to start reading cells", double-click the command, add it to the Quick Access Toolbar on the right, and click the "Add" button to complete the operation.

To ensure that the sound card and speakers or headphones work properly, now we select a cell in the table, press ENTER to hear Excel clearly read aloud sound, feel very magical? So whether you press ENTER when you enter data or you press the ENTER key continuously, We can all hear Excel reading aloud, input and check are very convenient.
If you want to set up your voice aloud, you can turn on speech recognition in Control Panel and click "Text-to-Speech", where you can choose the sound and speed of reading aloud.

Excel reads what is currently visible on the worksheet, including numbers, Chinese, English and so on, if the English is the correct word will read the word, if not the words will be read aloud letters; If the worksheet is a formula view, the formula is also read aloud, and if some cell data in the worksheet is hidden, it is not read aloud.
