In general, to open the Help window for Excel 2007/2010, you must first open an Excel program.
What if I want to see help but don't want to open the Excel program?
This article is about sharing a way to quickly open your own Excel Help with desktop shortcuts without having to open an Excel program.
Step 1: Find Excel Help Portal. As shown in the following figure (Excel2007 corresponding directory is Office12)
If you double-click CLVIEW.EXE directly, you will be prompted for an error (figure below)
Step 2: Create a new desktop shortcut and modify the shortcut's properties (Clview). EXE Properties "Shortcuts", add "Excel" "Microsoft Office Excel" after the string, and save the settings after the modification is complete.
Step 3: Double-click the desktop shortcut to open Excel Help.
If you do not want to set the desktop shortcut, you can also use the following method.
Step 1: Open the system from the "Run" window (CMD window can also);
Step 2: Input string "C:Program filesmicrosoft OfficeOffice14CLVIEW.EXE" "Excel" "Microsoft Office Excel";
Step 3: Click OK.
