Excel2003 Introductory Animation Tutorial 46, Excel Lock and hide formulas.
Demo Animation
Operation Steps
Calculated formulas that you have worked hard in Excel do not normally want users to view and modify. What do we do? Using Excel to Lock, hide, and protect the worksheet, hide and lock the formula.
Select the entire worksheet data range, and then execute the format → cells command to open the Format Cells dialog box.
Switch to the Protection tab, clear the "∨" number in the check box before the lock option, and make sure that you return.
To perform the edit position command, open the Locate dialog box, click the Locate Condition button, and open the Locate Criteria dialog box.
Select the formula option, and make sure that all cells in the worksheet that contain formulas are returned at once.
Open the Format Cells dialog box again, switch to the Protection tab, and add the "∨" number to the check box in the front of the lock and hide options to make sure you return.
Execute the tools → protect → protect sheet command, open the Protect Sheet dialog box, enter a password, confirm, and then verify that you enter the password again, and make sure you return.
Tips
If you need to view or modify the formula, first perform the tools → protect → undo sheet protection Command to remove the worksheet from protection.
