The OWA configuration of Exchange 2013 is similar to the 2010 configuration, except that the operations in EMC are transferred to the EAC.
To configure the OWA domain name shorthand
By default, Exchange uses Https://mail.contoso.com/owa to access mailboxes. We can modify the redirection of the OWA directory in IIS. Automatically jump when you enter http://mail.contoso.com or mail.contoso.com to facilitate our use of OWA and quick and easy access to our Exchange 2013
Log on to an Exchange CAS server by using an administrator account, open Internet Information Services (IIS) Manager, expand Web site-Default Web site under the server, and double-click HTTP redirection in the right column
Check "Redirect request to this target" and enter Https://mail.contoso.com/owa.
Tick "REDIRECT requests only to content in this directory (not subdirectories)"
Finally click "Apply"
After the operation is complete, all child virtual directories under the default Web sit are redirected, and the default web will need to be canceled in order not to affect other subdirectories still accessible using the https://mail.contoso.com/xxx way HTTP redirection for other virtual folders under Site, folders are:
Aspnet_client,autodiscover,ecp,ews,microsoft-server-activesync,oab,owa,powershell,rpc
After the redirection is completed, the input https://mail.contoso.com can be successfully transferred to Https://mail.contoso.com/owa, but our general habit is to use http:// mail.contoso.com, or mail.contoso.com to access OWA. This can be accomplished by following these steps.
Expand Web Site-Default Web site under the server, and then double-click the error page in the right column to open
