With a wireless LAN connection and an Apple ID, you can dial and receive FaceTime calls (log in with the Apple ID or create a new account). On the IPhone 4s/iphone 5/iphone 5s/iphone 6/iphone 6 Plus, you can also make FaceTime calls via a cellular mobile data connection, which may have to pay the operator. To turn off this feature, go to the Settings > Cellular mobile network shutdown.
Dialing and answering calls
Make FaceTime call: Make sure FaceTime is open in Settings > FaceTime. Tap FaceTime, and then type the contact name or phone number you want to call in the top input field. Tap to make a video call. or tap to open "Address Book" and call from here. Tap the icon to start FaceTime calls.
Use your voice to start the call. Hold down the main screen button, then say "FaceTime", and then name the person you are calling.
do you want to dial again? Tap FaceTime to view the phone records on the screen. Tap Video to refine your search, and then tap the name or phone number to call again. Tap "I" to open the name or phone number in the Address book. Swipe to the left, then tap Delete to remove the name or phone number from the call log.
Can't you answer the call now? When FaceTime calls are dialed in, you can answer, reject, or select other options.
View the entire group: rotate the IPhone to use FaceTime in vertical mode. To avoid unnecessary changes in direction, make a vertical lock on the iphone.
Manage calls
Multi-task operations during the call process. Press the main screen button, and then tap the application icon. You can still talk to friends, but you can't see each other. To return to the video, tap the green bar at the top of the screen.
call at the same time. FaceTime calls are not transferred. If you have other incoming calls when you are making a FaceTime call, you can end the first call and answer the call, reject the call, or reply to the call with a text message.
add multiple caller numbers: When you call, you can add other contacts to the call. Keep the first call, and then tap to add another phone.

The other options in Settings let you turn FaceTime on or off, specify a phone number, an Apple ID, or an e-mail address to use with FaceTime, and set the calling number.
