BT Sync Introduction
BT download, I believe everybody knows. Today to introduce the BT Sync, like BT download, are the BitTorrent company invented drops, are used to transfer the same-peer protocol.
In short, BT sync is a file Sync tool that lets you sync files between several different devices.
Since it is a "File Synchronization tool", the most basic "incremental sync" feature is of course essential. In addition, according to my test: After the synchronization is completed, if the "initiator" to rename the file, but the contents of the file is not changed, BT Sync "will not" re-upload the contents of the file-this is more intelligent.

1. Advantages as a "sync tool"
- No need to have a server of your own
- No need to have a public network ip--if both devices are in the "intranet", as long as these two devices can access to the public network, you can synchronize with each other
- Number of files "None" limit, File Size "None" limit
- Support a variety of network patterns-can be "on-line synchronization between the public", can also be "local area network synchronization."
- Supports various operating systems:
- Microsoft Windows (XP SP3 or later)
- Mac OS X (10.6 or later)
- Linux
- Freebsd
- NAS Devices
- Android
- Amazon Kindle Fire
- Ios
- Windows Phone
2. Advantages as a "distributed network Disk"
- there is no limit to storage space--really, the space limit is the size of the hard drive that participates in the node (today's terabytes of hard drives are no longer uncommon)
- there is no download traffic limit-In contrast, most commercial network disks have this limitation
- There is no file size limit-In contrast, most commercial network disks limit the "Single File Size".
- no censorship-share what you want to share
- No fees
- It's hard to get banned
3. Advantages of "safety aspects"
When transferring data between different BT Sync nodes, a "strong encryption" method is used to prevent data traffic from being sniffed (peeping).
Only the nodes participating in the synchronization can be decrypted, and those who help you relay the "transit Server", there is no way to decrypt. Therefore, even if your ISP (carrier) monitors your traffic, you will not know what files you have transferred through BT Sync.
BT Sync use 1. Install
Green software, no installation, double-click Run.
Note : If the system pops up a "login dialog" to let you enter an administrator password, cancel it directly-because BT Sync is also available under normal user privileges.
2. Sync folders shared with other devices
- Import access keys or links, etc.
Note : The key is divided into a read- write key (starting with a, you can modify the contents of the synchronization folder) and a read-only key (starting with B, only the contents of the synchronization folder can be obtained)
- Select the local folder and click Open, then start syncing automatically
3. Create folders and share to other devices
Select the folder you want to share and click Open
Select Share mode in the shared window that pops up later
Or just close the window and right click on the shared directory to select share mode:
Problems
- Node not found
If the node cannot be found, you can remove the local synchronization directory and then re-import
- System time Error
It is recommended to start the time synchronization service, can not be synchronized manually:
