Several fixed asset dates
1.
Transfer Date of legacy data(Legacy data transfer date)
Before switching the system, you must specify the asset transfer date, for the configuration path, see accounting-> asset data transmission-> data transmission parameters-> date description to specify the transfer date/accounting year for the final settlement.
That is to say, the year of assets of the converted heritage system must be later than the latest settlement accounting year.
2.Capitalization date(Capitalization date)
You can manually enter the capitalization date, or if you do not enter it, the asset value date is usually written into the asset for the first purchase by default.
When you create an asset, manually enter the capitalization date. If you do not enter the date, the system will write the date into the asset value at the first purchase. Simply put, the capitalization date is similar to the pre-available status Date in China. By default, this field cannot be modified when an asset is created.
*The purchase here refers to the increase in the original value caused by various services of fixed assets in their life cycle.
Note:
I.As91: the remaining assets are created when the product is launched. The capitalization date is mandatory and can be the last day of the launch period. In this way, the depreciation starts next month (the start month) based on the capitalization date.
II. As01, the default capitalization date is unchangeable and is automatically written into the date of the first purchase date. If modification is forcibly allowed, depreciation is still accrued on the value day of the first purchase date.
3.Asset interest/value day(Asset value date)
If the asset is "purchased" multiple times (that is, the original value increases), each business corresponds to an asset value day.
4.First asset purchase date(Asset first acquisition date)
An asset may be purchased or added multiple times throughout its lifecycle. The first asset value date is written into the asset's primary data.
5.Asset non-activity date(Asset deactivation date)
Generally, for example, tcode of capital assets during construction:OaxgIt can be defined that the project under construction will be automatically set as not active after the project under construction is converted, and the project under construction that is set as not active cannot be processed before the non-active date is removed.
6.Planned retirement date(Plan retirement date)
7.Asset procurement date(Purchase Order Date)
8.Asset suspension date(Asset shutdown date)
You can set the date on which assets are deprecated. The New Standard specifies that the deprecated assets are depreciated (Otherwise, you will be confused about the profit.), The default depreciation logic of SAP assets is to overwrite all previous depreciation values after the service is enabled.
9.Start date of depreciation calculation(Depreciation calculation start date)
As a general rule of the system, the system determines the capitalization date of the asset primary data (if not filled) from the date of asset value of the first purchase post ), the capitalization date is combined with the asset depreciation code configuration to determine the start date of the asset depreciation calculation. For example, according to the standards of domestic assets, intangible assets are accrued and amortized from the month of purchase, in general, depreciation is accrued for fixed assets starting from the next month. However, you can directly modify the depreciation start date in the asset master record, which has the highest priority.
