As a simulation tool, Modelsim is an indispensable software for CPLD and FPGA. Before performing the simulation, let's talk about the harmonious installation problem. You can download the installation software from www.modelsim.com. The official website provides the latest installation packages and many historical versions. Select the appropriate version as needed and enter your personal information (this form does not seem to have any verification ).

Afterwards, you need a harmonious tool. There are many such crack tools on the Internet, but they are not very comprehensive. The most common problem with the use is that the license is incorrect. The prompt is as follows:

Harmony begins as follows:

1.GenerateLicense

Open license. Src in notepad and change the first line to your own information. Change "Maid @ OPZ" to the computer name, and change "1c6f6532fa3c" to the host ID. This ID is generated by ModelSim Based on the hardware information of the NIC. Obtain the method: Open the Start Menu → Modelsim → license wizard, you can see in user tools → host information (the hostid of Modelsim was originally generated by the hardware information of the NIC ).

Change the path of the second line to your own Modelsim installation path. Note that this \ Win32 (64-bit installation is \ win64) should be retained later. Run get_license.bat to generate a license. dat file, which is placed in a path that does not contain spaces or Chinese characters, such as your installation path.

2.ProcessingMgls. dll

Copy patch_dll.batand mentorkg.exe to the Win32 folder in the Modelsim installation directory and run patch_dll.bat. A license is also generated.

3.Start the License Server

Open the license wizard (see step 1) and select Server Admin → new;
